Rates and FAQ

How much will it cost?

The cost of translating is generally based on the number of words in the source text and the rates will vary depending on urgency, complexity and language combination.

I accept payments in GBP, EUR or USD via bank transfer or PayPal.  Payment is due within 15 days of delivery or in advance if the project is large. I will issue an official invoice where you can find payment details.

Email me and I will provide a tailored quotation.

How long will it take?

On average, a translator can translate around 2,000 words per day. However, an exact timescale will depend on each job. Email me for a more accurate timescale.

Why pay for a human translator?

Sure, Google might help you convey the basic idea of a message. But it doesn’t offer more than that, and even worse it may read like a translation!

A translator’s job is more than converting texts from one language into another. Translators are often the anonymous liaisons between societies and cultures, bridging the communication gap. They are essentially “intercultural communicators”, bringing cultures together through language.

Remember, no one has to know it was a TRANSLATION.
